Preparing your Top for Longarming

  • Backing MUST be 4 inches larger than the quilt top on ALL 4 sides.  This is the minimum that I will accept.

  • NO Fleece.

  • Minkee, Fireside, Flannel, and Wide backs are accepted.

  • Pieced backing should be sewn with a 1” seam allowance and pressed open to allow the seams to lie flat.

  • Mark the top of the backing with a pinned on sticky note.
